Terms of service
Welcome to JoinLike. By accessing or using joinlike.com (“JoinLike”, “the service”), you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service.
1. The service
JoinLike provides creators, founders, and teams with tools to publish public handles (/w/{handle}), launch waitlists, wantlists, and wishlists, collect visitor responses, and evaluate demand. Specific features vary between Free and Pro plans.
2. Accounts and registration
- To access the dashboard and manage lists, you must sign in using a valid Google account.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account.
- Handles are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You may not register handles for deceptive purposes, squatting, or infringing on trademarks. We reserve the right to reclaim misleading handles.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use JoinLike for any unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity, including but not limited to:
- Sending unsolicited email or spam to contacts collected via the platform.
- Misleading visitors with false claims, phishing schemes, or illegal offerings.
- Attempting to compromise service integrity, bypass rate limits, or disrupt our servers.
- Scraping, crawling, or extracting platform data without prior written authorization.
4. Creator responsibilities for subscriber data
If you collect names and email addresses from visitors on your lists, you act as the data controller for that information. You warrant that you have a lawful basis to collect and process those emails in compliance with applicable privacy and anti-spam legislation (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL).
5. Plans, billing, and cancellations
- Free plan: Provides 1 active project and up to 100 signups with no credit card required.
- Pro plan: Monthly or annual recurring subscription granting up to 50 lists and up to 25,000 signups a month per list, designer templates, and advanced customization.
- Payment processing: Subscriptions are securely processed through our merchant of record, Dodo Payments.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the customer portal in your billing settings. Access continues through the end of your paid billing period.
- Refunds: Governed by our refund policy.
6. Intellectual property
- JoinLike and its original designs, branding, software, and tokens are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to the content, text, links, and branding you upload to your lists.
- Third-party fonts, software libraries, and assets are used under their applicable open-source licenses as documented in our third-party licenses directory.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these terms or engage in abusive conduct. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
8. Limitation of liability and disclaimer
JoinLike is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JoinLike and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data arising out of your use of the service.
9. Changes to terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. When changes occur, we will update the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the service following updates signifies acceptance of the amended terms.
